Having Your Own Statue Made
If you're looking for a truly meaningful gift for yourself or someone you love, having your own statue made could be one of the most special options you can think of. Statues are no longer just made for celebrities or legendary figures, they can be made for you too. All you need is a good photo, and we'll take care of the rest.
From Photo to Statue: How Does the Process Work?
Everything starts with the photo you send us. Once we receive the image, we begin a detailed review and analysis process. Facial features, proportions, hair details, posture... We examine the photo almost piece by piece to make sure nothing is missed. When needed, we request additional photos from different angles. Because the more detail we have, the more realistic the result. Some photos may have insufficient lighting or angle; in those cases, we get in touch with you and do whatever it takes to get the best outcome.
Once the review is complete, we move on to the digital modeling phase. At this stage, a 3D draft is prepared and submitted for your approval. Don't like something, or want a detail to be different? Just say the word and we'll fix it. We never move into production without your approval. Setting up the process this way protects both us and you from unnecessary disappointment.
Why Do We Use Fiberglass?
In production, we predominantly prefer fiberglass material. The main reason is that fiberglass is both lightweight and incredibly durable. Will you be using it indoors or outdoors? We apply different coating and painting techniques accordingly. For statues that will be placed outside, we use UV and moisture-resistant special coatings, meaning the color won't fade and the shape won't deteriorate even after years. Another major advantage of fiberglass is that it's much more practical during transport and installation, and this difference is truly felt especially with large-scale statues.
Of course, fiberglass isn't our only option. We can also work comfortably with alternative statue materials such as resin and plaster. Depending on size, intended use, and budget, we determine the most suitable material together. A small figurine for your desk, or a life-size statue to be placed at your entrance? Both are possible, both can be done.
Dozens of Our Customers Have Had Their Own Statue Made
We've encountered many different stories over the years. Some ordered for a birthday surprise, some thought of it as an anniversary gift for their partner, and some simply wanted something uniquely their own. Every process was different, but that moment of astonishment and joy at the end was always the same. Couple statues in particular have been very popular recently. The number of people considering this idea for wedding anniversaries, engagements, or retirement gifts continues to grow. In fact, some of our customers were so happy with their first statue that they came back to order again with different poses.
The majority of our customers come to us asking "is it even possible?" Our answer is always the same: Yes, it is. And it's a much easier and more enjoyable process than you'd think.
